Ana es una joven sevillana harta de su familia y del conflictivo barrio en el que viven. Todo irá a peor cuando su madre, para evitar el desahucio, decide engañar a una agencia para acoger en su casa a Ariel Brooklyn, un estudiante afroamericano de familia adinerada, a cambio de 700 euros. A pesar de sus diferencias y de las situaciones esperpénticas que provoca el fraude, Ana y Ariel se verán obligados a convivir bajo el mismo techo. Y ya se sabe que el roce hace cariño.
