El 11 de noviembre de 2009 Enrique Bunbury actuó en el Estadio Azteca de México, convirtiéndose en el primer músico español en congregar 90.000 personas en un solo concierto en Latinoamérica y en solitario. Unos meses después, la estrella de rock decide afrontar un nuevo reto adentrándose en un fascinante e inédito tour por carretera a lo largo y ancho de Estados Unidos, en compañía de su banda, su mujer y su gato, dando conciertos en lugares nunca antes explorados por el rock español. Lo que en un principio parecía un apasionante viaje para conquistar nueva audiencia y un nuevo mercado, pronto se torna en un inesperado viaje interior de Enrique a sus propias luces y sombras con la música.
