Han pasado 10 años desde que Tai y Agumon se conocieron y comenzaron su aventura en el mundo digital. Tai se ha convertido en universitario mientras que Matt y los otros han seguido sus propios caminos en la vida. Pero una serie de incidentes alrededor del mundo hace que los niños elegidos se reúnan de nuevo para combatir al causante: Eosmon. Durante la batalla, algo sale mal con las evoluciones de Agumon y los otros Digimones y sale a la luz una impactante verdad… Cuando un niño elegido se convierte en adulto, su Digimon deja de existir.
