El 19 de septiembre del 2017, a las 13:14 horas, un terremoto devastó la Ciudad de México y sus alrededores. Inmediatamente, los ciudadanos se movilizaron para ayudar, incluyendo el actor y youtuber Juanpa Zurita que rápidamente organizó un grupo de amigos que incluía cantantes, actores, creadores de contenido y otras celebridades del mundo del entretenimiento quienes lo ayudaron a recaudar fondos para la reconstrucción de la ciudad.
